Pet Portraits
Acrylic on Canvas
This is the most common type of commission I do, generally I scale up a photo on to a 50cm x 50cm deep edged canvas and build up layers of acrylic paint to achieve a realistic portrait. I use Farrow & Ball paint to add a complimentary colour to the background, or a colour to suit the client's home.
I can of course work to a larger or smaller size if requested.
The clearer the photo, showing details and light, the better the outcome.
50cm x 50cm with postage & packaging is £350

Watercolour on paper
Watercolours can give wonderful subtle changes in the fur and offer a softer blend from one colour to the next. You can achieve tremendous details, especially in the eyes. You can have this mounted in a black/white or wooden frame - I can send you photos for you to decide. Alternatively, if it is a gift for someone, I can package and post it to them directly.
The size is up to you but generally around A5-A2, and the price will match accordingly. I am happy to discuss this with you.
Multiple Animals

Sometimes I have been asked to paint more than one pet and even to include past and present pets. All I ask is that we get the best quality photos possible of them looking outwards. I will place them together on the computer and email you an example of how it will look and if happy, I will get painting. The canvas size and shape will vary depending on the composition.
Guide price £350 plus £65 per additional dog
Postage & packaging to be arranged, dependent on size.
