I paint and draw in several different styles and mediums but these pictures are where I work over a long period of time. I really enjoy the abstract in the details, a reflection in a window or the busy lines as buildings bisect each other. I don't set out to make them photorealistic but give a timeless look. After the Rain

Black Lines
This painting is of a commuter on his way to work. I really liked the lines that cross horizontally and vertically. I have been to Blackfriars Station many times and this busy crossing is always interesting. Watercolour on heavy watercolour paper £1850
The Camden Punk
A friend of mine took a photo of this guy who is rather famous in Camden, he has a small cardboard sign that says 'Help a Punk get drunk" I decided to do this in pencil to try to capture the creases and studs on the leather jacket. 45cm x 60cm £850
Brighton Pier
I was asked by Artists & Illustrators magazine to do a step by step article on how I produced one of my detailed watercolours. I thought the subject was perfect it had structures, people, light and shade. 50cm x 50cm on heavy watercolour paper £1250
In to the Trees
